We are thrilled to learn that the Trisomy 18 Foundation was nominated by one of our Trisomy 18 grandmothers, Emma J. Bowens of Atlanta. We will receive $1,000 from HSN Cares, the charitable arm of HSN: Home Shopping Network, as part of their Community Appreciation Month. Thank you for always supporting our organization in our mission and for your passion and creativity when you hear of opportunities like this.  HSN Cares is dedicated to empowering women and helping families in times of need. They will announce us as the recipient of $1,000 on April 18th at 7:oopm ET on HSN.  Please tune in to see us on live on national television.

Emma is the grandmother of Jayda Tyler who was lost at 21 days old to Trisomy 18 in 2009.  But in that brief time, she blessed her family’s life immeasurably.
