Trisomy 18 affects not only the parents of those babies diagnosed but also the extended family members and the health professionals who care for them. We started the Community Connect Facebook Group for those people to have a place to share, ask questions, and learn how to better support the parents. We strongly encourage members to support each other and learn all they can about Trisomy 18 from each other without using the information learned to sway the parents one way or another. The decisions that parents make for their children are uniquely personal.
