Back in April of 2018 my then boyfriend(now husband) and I found I was pregnant. This being my first of course I was terrified of all things that could go wrong. The first couple of ultrasounds went well, we never had any indication that our sweet boy was sick. Then at our anatomy exam they told us that he had Trisomy 18, my whole world fell apart. I questioned what it was I did wrong or what I could do to fix it. But as you know there is no cure or fixing trisomy 18. Everything changed that day, they told us everything about this disease and what I could do. I ended up giving birth July 20,2018, my angel was born sleeping. I miss him every single day, and I’m happy to be able to share this story with others who understand.
