Until Austin I had never heard of Trisomy 18. We were told not to expect him to live to term, he did. We were told not to expect him to leave through the labor, he did. We were told not to expect him to live through delivery, he did. We were told he wouldn’t live 20 minutes, my Austin lived for 5 hours before being called home. Even though his time on earth was short he taught me so much and changed my life forever.
